Processes such as grinding and chemical sharpening remove the metal from the tip. This is done through a process that does not remove as much material from the tip as other methods. Finally, the hook goes through an innovative computer-controlled three-stage tempering process – Nor Temper™. This heat treatment creates a fine, ultra-strong material structure that increases the strength of the hook by up to 30%. The result is hooks with extremely strong and sharp tips that penetrate easily and have a long life.
