Shimano Sedona 500 FJ - 2023 Fishing reel

The Sedona is equipped with proven Shimano technologies—the AR-C Spool and Varispeed Oscillation System—which ensure precise line lay on the spool. This improves casting distance and accuracy while reducing the risk of tangles and line loops.

In operation, the reel impresses with exceptionally smooth, quiet, and powerful rotation. This is due to the combination of HAGANE Gear and SilentDrive technologies, which ensure high mechanical efficiency, smooth performance, and reliability, even when battling larger fish.

The front drag operates smoothly and precisely, maintaining consistent tension while playing the fish. This allows for excellent control and reduces the risk of line breakage during sudden surges.
