HAGANE GEAR - The main gear is made from a single piece of metal alloy using Shimano's HAGANE cold-forming technology, without any additional machining. This ensures smoothness, strength, lightness and strength at the very heart of the reel.

HAGANE BODY - The reel body is made of aluminum-magnesium alloy using cold stamping technology. By using this technology, very high hardness and impact resistance of the body is achieved. The prerequisites for bending or deforming the housing are eliminated, which in turn leads to more precise operation of the mechanisms and the drum.

Shimano X Protect - A specially designed labyrinth structure of several teeth with added lubricant between them prevents water from entering between the rotor and the reel body. At the same time, frictional resistance between these two elements is eliminated.

X-SHIP - a specially developed gear system of multiple elements that increase strength and power. Through the larger diameter and central location of the main gear and gear, more power is transferred from the handle to the reel rotor.
