HAGANE BODY - The reel housing is made from an aluminum-magnesium alloy through cold-stamping technology. HAGANE GEAR - The main gear is forged from a single solid metal alloy using SHIMANO HAGANE cold-forging technology, with no additional processing. This provides smoothness, strength, lightness, and power at the heart of the reel.

X-SHIP - A specially designed multi-element gear system that increases power and strength. By using a larger diameter and central positioning of the main gear and drive gear, more power is transmitted from the handle to the rotor. G FREE BODY - Reduces the center distance of the reel’s weight closer to the handle. This is achieved through the removal of the oscillating mechanism by 19 millimeters closer to the rod. AR-C SPOOL - Patented SHIMANO spool design with an angled lip - reduces line friction when casting, making it more precise and accurate. It also prevents line twist when working with braided line.
